If configured and understand correctly SELinux can be very useful. I must
admit though without spending time to learn the tools and how to read the
logs it can render a machine almost useless....

Usually SeLinux stops me from doing what I intended to do and makes my
systems UNUSABLE as opposed to SECURE.
If a system is UNUSABLE it is USELESS.
